Where We Work

During the past 10 years, SORDES has successfully implemented over 30 projects with communities living in Somalia. The organization has collaborated with local NGOs and international bodies and has built a very positive reputation as a reliable and transparent organization.

The board supervises the management and is responsible for all the action of NGO. This system is governed by a documented constitution or by-laws. At least 80% of the board members meet every 6 months. Board members fundraise for the NGO and can provide legal and management advice.

SORDES’S biggest strength and capacity is in its human resource; a team of relatively young educated persons. The staff possesses excellent academic and technical qualifications, skills but also exposure to diverse environments mostly on the positive side thus gaining immense experience in their area and sectors of operation
